Terms and Conditions for The Devon Birth School Hypnobirthing Courses

 

I, (being the purchaser), hereby state that I am purchasing The Devon Birth School Hypnobirthing Course — delivered either in person or virtually — of my own free will for myself or a third party and I have full understanding of the following:

• The Devon Birth School program will utilise and teach a variety of techniques designed to enhance physical and emotional relaxation and build confidence for birth.

• The Devon Birth School does not guarantee any specific outcomes related to the birth experience.

• Any audio tracks (mp3s) provided must never be listened to while driving or operating heavy machinery.

• It is understood that Cara French is not a medical professional and will not offer medical advice.

• It is understood that there are other options available for antenatal education and support, and at this time, I (or the third party) choose to participate in The Devon Birth School program of my/their own free will.

• The content of these sessions — whether attended live or accessed through supplementary materials — is in no way intended to be represented as medical advice or a substitute for medical procedures. Any health-related issues, questions, or concerns regarding pregnancy, labour, or the delivery of a baby should be discussed with a medical professional.

• While The Devon Birth School cannot guarantee birth outcomes, I acknowledge that for the best experience, I will make reasonable use of the therapeutic suggestions provided, including listening to any mp3s or using the techniques taught during the sessions.

• It is understood that anyone participating in The Devon Birth School Hypnobirthing Course does so in good health, both physically and mentally, and that there are no known health concerns preventing participation.

• If there are any doubts about my (or the third party’s) suitability for the program, I understand that I should seek professional medical advice before participating.

• I acknowledge that if I (or the third party) am under medical supervision for any physical or mental health condition, I will seek guidance from my medical care provider before beginning the course.

• I agree that by participating in the program, I will not hold Cara French or The Devon Birth School responsible for any special circumstances arising from my pregnancy, labour, or the birth of my baby. I also confirm that neither I nor any member of my family or support circle will make a claim or initiate legal action against Cara French or The Devon Birth School now or at any point in the future.

• I understand that any posts made within The Devon Birth School’s student areas, including membership platforms or private Facebook groups, may be used for promotional purposes.

Refunds Policy

• For live courses (in person or virtual), cancellations made at least 7 days before the start date are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date will not be eligible for a refund.

• If a future downloadable course is purchased, refunds will only be considered within 7 days of purchase and on the condition that no more than Week 1 of the course has been accessed.
